Hey there! I’m Heather, and I want to help you learn to be more self-reliant.
There’s never been a more important time to learn self-reliance. And if you’re here, you feel the same urge I do: to expand your skills and experience the pride and empowerment of growing a garden, keeping chickens, or baking your own bread.
My family and I live on a 10-acre homestead where we raise chickens, ducks, bees, and cows. We have a garden, and I love preserving what we grow by canning, dehydrating, freezing, and fermenting.
Since having children, I’ve been passionate about learning how to be more self-reliant and prepared for everyday and unexpected emergencies.
